CFI

If you’d like to learn to fly you’ll need to work with a certified flight instructor (CFI). A CFI is able to conduct training for you private pilot license and most of your commercial license. If you’d like to add an instrument rating to your pilot license you’ll need a CFII. When working with an independent CFI and CFII you are able to earn your pilot licenses without going to a flight school.

There are some benefits to working with an independent CFI over going to a flight school.
